Fujinomiya Route

The Fujinomiya Route (Blue Trail) is by far the shortest route on Mt. Fuji, with the highest 5th station at 2,400 meters (7,874 ft.) It takes above 5~6 hours to reach the summit from the Fujinomiya 5th staiton. The route is the closest route to Mt. Fuji's highest Peak (Kengamine) 3,776 meters (12,388 ft). From this route climbers can enjoy views of Suruga Bay, Izu Peninsula as well as access the Hoei crater from adjoining cross trials. This is the favored route for off-season climbs.

Fujinomiya Mountain Huts
