Mt. Fuji Guided Tours

Since the summer of 2008 we have been guiding small, large and private climbing tours up Mt. Fuji, all led by English speaking professional guides. As one of the only licensed travel companies offering non-Japanese climbing tours up Mt. Fuji, we have guided guests from all over the world; trekked all four-summit routes; and completed thousands of successful one-day and two-day hikes. 2-Day Mt. Fuji Climbs (In-Season)

This popular tour operates from July 1st to Sept 10th and the best dates tend to fill up quickly.
 

2-Day In-Season Climb (Small Group)

  • Climb the less crowded Fujinomiya or Subashiri Route
  • Rest over night at an Authentic Mountain Hut
  • Round trip transportation between Shinjuku and Mt. Fuji
  • Option of joining and ending tour in Mt. Fuji area (Gotenba train station)
  • English/Japanese Speaking Mountain Guide
  • Includes Hot Dinner at the Mountain Hut
  • Includes relaxing in Hot Spring after climb
  • Group Size (*4~15)( Require a minimun of 4 persons for a small group climb)

2-Day In-Season Climb (Large Group)

  • Climb the Yoshida Route (Largest 5th Station on Mt. Fuji)
  • Rest over night at an Authentic Mountain Hut
  • Includes Hot Dinner and Breakfast
  • Round trip transportation between Shinjuku and Mt. Fuji
  • English/Japanese Speaking Mountain Guide/Assistant
  • Includes relaxing in hot spring after climb
  • Group Size (15~50)
  • Price ¥44,900/Adult + Tax
  • Price ¥42,900/Child + Tax (under 12yrs old)

Sample 2-Day Climbing Itinerary:

Day 1: Tokyo - Mt.Fuji 5th Station - 8th Station
      • 7:30 Shinjuku Hotel Pick-Up - Leave Tokyo via Expressway 
      • 10:30 Arrive at Mt.Fuji 5th station - Snacks and prepare to climb (Stretch)
      • 12:00 Leave Mt.Fuji 5th station ascending route
      • 17:00 Arrive at Mountain Hut - Stay at Mountain Hut
      • 18:00 Dinner at Mountain Hut - Rest until morning
Day 2: 8th Station - Top of Mt.Fuji - 5th Station - Tokyo
      • 2:00 Leave Mountain Hut for Summit
      • 4:00 Arrive at summit - Watch the sunrise and take pictures
      • 5:30 Leave summit descending route
      • 10:00 Arrive at 5th station - Snacks on your own and rest
      • 11:00 Mt. Fuji Area Onsen - Clean up and rest
      • 12:00 Leave Mt. Fuji area via Expressway
      • 16:00 Shinjuku Hotel Drop-off

  • All climbs include relaxing in Hot spring at base on Mt. Fuji after the climb:
  • Small Group climb require a minimum 4 persons to operate:
  • Japanese consumption tax is 8%
  • Availability and dates are limited, early reservations are recommended to ensure a spot.
  • Mountaineering insurance not included. If required we recommend to purchase this on your own.
  • The ¥1,000 Mt. Fuji voluntary climbing fee not included in tour price.

2-Day Off Season Climbs

      • This climb is available just before and just after the offical climbing season: (June, Sept 12th - Oct 15th)
        Comparable to the 2-Day in season climb, this climb follows much of the same itinerary, Partakers will enjoy a much more undisturbed and peaceful climb up Fuji as the trails, as well as the mountain hut, will at times be completely deserted.
      • Notes: depending on the weather conditions climbers may have to wait until sunrise to summit for this tour.

1-Day Climbs (May~Oct)

      • This is a full day tour starting early in the morning and recommended only for the advanced climber or for those who are in great condition, starting off early in the morning you will reach the summit by the afternoon and return to the 5th station before sunset.
